Der Soap-Star – vor allem bekannt für seine Rolle als Eric Brady in fast 1.000 Episoden von „Days of Our Lives“ und als Lucky Spencer in mehr als 600 Episoden von „General Hospital“ – postete Anfang der Woche ein paar Fotos von sich selbst beim Spielen mit eine Sauerstoffmaschine.
Vaughan versicherte den Fans, dass es ihm bisher gut ging, musste aber sofort in die Notaufnahme, nachdem er an einer sehr schlimmen Höhenkrankheit erkrankt war.
GV sagt, er sei mit seinen Kindern zum Skifahren und Snowboarden nach Breckenridge, Colorado, gefahren, habe sich aber gleich nach einem Urlaubstag, der eigentlich Spaß machen und entspannen sollte, müde, stickig und außer Atem gefühlt.
Greg sagt, er habe NyQuil genommen und eine Menge Pedialyte getrunken … aber das habe das Problem nicht gelöst und er sei schließlich den Berg hinuntergegangen, um einen Arzt aufzusuchen.
Obwohl er glaubte, dass das Problem nicht allzu ernst sein würde … Vaughan hatte Glück, dass er nicht versucht hatte, der Krankheit zu widerstehen – denn er sagte, dass der Sauerstoffgehalt in seinem Blut bei dürftigen 54 % lag und dass die Flüssigkeit dürftig war . seine Lungen füllen.
Vaughan sagt, sie hätten ihn an eine Infusion angeschlossen und ihm gesagt, es sei wahrscheinlich das Beste für ihn, in eine niedrigere Höhe zu gehen.
