Lokalmatadore aus der Netflix-Serie „Queer Eye“ kommen zur Verteidigung Jonathan Van Nessder kürzlich in einer Enthüllung über die Entstehung der Serie als „Monster“ bezeichnet wurde.
Mehrere Teilnehmer, die mit JVN zusammengearbeitet haben, erzählen TMZ: „Jonathan war während der Dreharbeiten nie unprofessionell oder unhöflich, zumindest nach dem, was sie gesehen haben.“ Cory Waldropder in der ersten Staffel von „QE“ auftrat, wusste nichts von den jüngsten Vorwürfen – erinnert sich aber, dass Jonathan vor und hinter der Kamera derselbe war.
Cory sagt, er erinnere sich daran, dass Jonathan sich alle Mühe gegeben habe, ihn wie den Star der Show zu behandeln und ihn beim Aufnehmen die Produktion des Imbisswagens unterbrechen ließ.
William Mahnken – der in der zweiten Folge der zweiten Staffel auftrat – äußerte eine ähnliche Meinung. Er erzählt TMZ, dass er während der Produktion seiner Episode keine Probleme mit Jonathan hatte und fügt hinzu, dass er nie gesehen habe, dass der Friseur am Set etwas Negatives getan habe.
Tatsächlich erinnert sich William daran, mehrere gute Erinnerungen mit dem Reality-TV-Star gehabt zu haben.
Anscheinend hat Jonathan sogar versprochen, William zu den Emmys mitzunehmen, wenn seine Mutter nicht dabei sein könnte.
Michael Richard II, der aus der siebten Staffel bekannt ist, sagt, Jonathan sei bei den Dreharbeiten zu „Queer Eye“ „immer brillant und freundlich“ gewesen. Was die angebliche Spannung zwischen JVN und seinen Teamkollegen betrifft: Karamo Brown, Bräunung Frankreich, Antoni PorowskiUnd Bobby Berk – Michael sagt, er habe kein böses Blut zwischen den Fab Five gesehen.
Er erzählt uns… „Er schien bei allen beliebt zu sein.“
Ryan Dyer – der in einer Episode der 5. Staffel auftrat – hat nur einen Tag mit Jonathan gefilmt, sagt aber, dass er eine tolle Erfahrung mit dem 36-Jährigen gemacht hat.
Jetzt sagt Ryan, er erinnere sich, dass Jonathan „die ganze Aufmerksamkeit“ wollte … aber er kann sich nicht erinnern, dass es ein Problem mit der Besetzung und der Crew gewesen wäre.
Natürlich beschrieben mehrere anonyme „Queer Eye“-Mitarbeiter eine ganz andere Erfahrung, wie sie dem Rolling Stone sagten. Jonathan war ein Kollege voller Wut mit wenig Einfühlungsvermögen für die Menschen um ihn herum.
