Larry H. Parker – der berühmte Anwalt für Autounfälle und Personenschäden, der für seine legendären Werbespots in den 80er und 90er Jahren bekannt war – ist gestorben … TMZ hat erfahren.
Ein langjähriger Mitarbeiter der renommierten Anwaltskanzlei, Ron Beckbestätigte uns am Freitag, dass Larry gestorben war… wollte aber keine weiteren Details nennen, auch nicht wo, wann und unter welchen Umständen.
Larrys Schwiegertochter, AlisaSie erzählte uns auch, dass die traurige Nachricht wahr sei – aber sie wollte auch nicht mehr verraten … und erzählte uns, dass die Familie über ihre nächsten Schritte nachdenke.
Wir erfahren, dass er diese Woche möglicherweise gestorben ist, obwohl es nicht 100 % klar ist. Auf jeden Fall ist dies ein Schlag für die Rechtsgemeinschaft, denn LHP war ein Gigant der Branche.
Die Menschen in und um Los Angeles – und sogar im Großraum Südkalifornien – kennen Parker gut … wenn nicht wegen seiner Fernsehwerbespots, dann zumindest wegen seiner zahlreichen Werbetafeln in der gesamten Region. Wenn Sie die 405 in Los Angeles genommen haben, sind Sie höchstwahrscheinlich vorbeigekommen und haben Larrys Gesicht gesehen.
Er ist der Gründer der Anwaltskanzlei Larry H. Parker, die sich hauptsächlich auf die Bearbeitung von Fällen von Personen spezialisiert hat, die in Autounfälle verwickelt waren, aber auch eine Vielzahl von Fällen im Zusammenhang mit Verletzungen bearbeitet. Sein Geschäft gibt es schon seit mindestens 50 Jahren … er ist also ein fester Bestandteil in Los Angeles.
Larry eröffnete seine Anwaltskanzlei in den 1970er Jahren und sie hat sich zu einer der größten in Amerika entwickelt und beschäftigt heute mehr als 150 Anwälte, die alle unter der Marke Larry arbeiten.
Sein Ansatz, seine Dienste zu bewerben, faszinierte die Popkultur und diente wohl als Vorbild für viele andere Anwälte (und Parodien), die versuchten, ein Publikum zu erreichen. Man könnte sagen, dass der Geist seiner einfachen juristischen Anzeigen mehrere Iterationen inspirierte – sowohl fiktive als auch reale. Der „SNL“-Skizze von Green & Fazio scheint von Larrys Werk inspiriert worden zu sein, und das Gleiche gilt für „Better Call Saul“.
Natürlich gibt es zahllose andere Anwälte, die im ganzen Land in seine Fußstapfen getreten sind und Werbetafeln, Werbeflächen und Sendezeit gekauft haben, um die Leute wissen zu lassen, dass sie bereit sind, Anklage zu erheben und für die Öffentlichkeit vor Gericht zu gehen.
Sein Slogan lautete: „Wir werden für Sie kämpfen!“ » …und man kann mit Sicherheit sagen, dass es in der amerikanischen Psyche verankert ist.
Larry war 75 Jahre alt.
