Dak Prescott behauptet, eine Frau würde damit drohen, falsche Anschuldigungen wegen sexueller Übergriffe gegen ihn an die Öffentlichkeit zu bringen, wenn er ihr nicht 100 Millionen Dollar zahlt … und jetzt reicht er eine Klage ein, um das alles zu verhindern.
Der Superstar der Dallas Cowboys reichte am Montag in Collin County, Texas, eine Klage ein, in der er behauptete, dass die Frau Küsten von Victoriaerläuterte seinen Erpressungsplan in einem Brief an ihn und seine Vertreter am 13. Februar.
Prescott behauptet, Shores habe in seinem Brief behauptet, er habe sie im Februar 2017 angegriffen – kurz nach dem Ende seiner Rookie-Saison bei den Cowboys. Er sagte in der Klage, dass sie über die ganze Sache schweigen würde, wenn er ihr 100 Millionen Dollar zahlen würde.
Die Anwälte des Quarterbacks erklärten in der Klage am Montag jedoch nachdrücklich: „Mr. Prescott hat sich nie an nicht einvernehmlichem Sexualverhalten mit irgendjemandem beteiligt.“
Tatsächlich schreiben sie: „Die Chronologie der Ereignisse und [Shores’] Die in den Jahren nach dem mutmaßlichen Angriff ergriffenen Maßnahmen entsprechen der ausschließlichen Teilnahme an einvernehmlichen Maßnahmen mit Herrn Prescott.
„Die Tatsache, dass Herr Prescott vor fast einem Jahrzehnt nichts Negatives über diese angebliche Interaktion gehört hat, ist wirklich ein Hinweis auf die Beweggründe von Shores.“
Prescott verklagt nun die Frau und ihre Anwälte wegen Verleumdung, Verleumdung, Erpressung/zivilrechtlicher Nötigung und mehr.
Prescotts Anwalt, Levi McCathernschrieb in einer Erklärung an TMZ Sport Montagabend: „Lügen tun weh. Vor allem bösartige Lügen. Wir werden nicht zulassen, dass der Angeklagte und sein Anwaltsteam von diesem Versuch, Millionen von Herrn Prescott zu erpressen, profitieren.“
McCathern fügte hinzu, dass der 30-jährige Flagger – der gerade bekam ihr erstes Kindein kleines Mädchen, ging letzten Monat zu den Behörden, um Shores „kriminelle Handlungen“ zu melden.
