Wir haben die Kopie eines an die Produzenten gerichteten Briefes gesehen Scott Jay Kaplan, Emmet McDermott und Autor Christina Binkley Nachdem sich Branchenveteranen die Rechte an CBs Buch „Winner Takes All“ gesichert hatten – das Steves Aufstieg und Fall als Casino-Bigwig beschreibt – für eine dramatische Geschichte.
Der Brief wurde vom Agenten verschickt Patricia L. Glaser in Steves Namen … und es macht deutlich, dass der Geschäftsmann aus Sin City keine kreativen Freiheiten tolerieren wird, die ihm in irgendeiner großen oder kleinen Dramatisierung seines Lebens genommen werden – einschließlich dessen, woran Kaplan und McDermott arbeiten.
Die Rechtsabteilung des Milliardärs hat ausdrücklich Bedenken hinsichtlich des Projekts geäußert und sich dabei auf die angebliche „Geschichte falscher Darstellungen und falscher Darstellungen des Autors in Bezug auf“ berufen [Steve]„ – unter Bezugnahme auf das Quellenmaterial, das als Inspiration für ihr Projekt dienen wird.

Das Buch landete auf der Bestsellerliste der New York Times, nachdem es Wynns kometenhaften Aufstieg dokumentiert hatte – wer war das?
